Natalia Fabra will present her research at the WEBINAR SERIES #AustralianElectricityMarketInitiative
run by #CentreForGlobalBusiness at Monash Business School and the Monash Energy Institute (Australia) on 28 April 2021, 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm (AEST)Market power in generation or storage affects the #storageinvestment level that is eventually supplied by the market. “Market power induces an inefficient use of the storage facilities and distorts #investmentincentives. The worst outcome for consumers and total welfare occurs under #verticalintegration. The results are key to understanding how to regulate #energystorage, a critical issue for the deployment of #renewables“.
